Pacific offers a decent variety of tournaments both as major monthly events and smaller daily satellites.
Graphics are somewhat simple and small and don't show any players but rather just empty chairs. The game does move at a good speed. One of the reasons for this is that each player has a bar above or below their name which indicates how much time they have to make a play. There is also a countdown clock at the top of the screen showing this same information.
At the top of the window is an annoying scrolling message which advertises a tournament, promotion or other advertisement. It also scrolls in the Windows taskbar at the bottom of the screen. These ads are both distracting and annoying.
To chat with other players, you need to enable the feature by clicking on a chat button. This will open a popup window but since this isn't the default, most players don't do it. You can therefore expect little or no chatter between players which you may or may not think is a good thing.
When purchasing casino credit, the process of being approved can take from a couple to several minutes. When you open an account, you are assigned a password. Moments later an email will arrive confirming your user name and telling you that another email will be arriving momentarily with your password. During the opening of our test account the second email never arrived.
