Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel is one of the most famous gangsters and is (incorrectly) credited for beginning the development of Las Vegas by building the Flamingo. Starring Warren Beatty, Annette Bening, Ben Kingsley, and Harvey Keitel. Rated R.
Through fictional mobster Sam "Ace" Rothstein, Casino shows how the Mafia seized and lost control of Las Vegas gambling in the 70's. Starring Robert DeNiro, Sharon Stone, and Joe Pesci. Rated R.
Honeymoon In Vegas
Jack and Betsy have been dating for years but she wants more than that. So they fly to Vegas to tie the knot. But right before the wedding, Jack loses her in a crooked poker game and must give her up for one weekend. In a wild, love-crazed pursuit, he fol lows her from Vegas to Hawaii and back again to try to win her back. Starring Nicolas Cage, Sarah Jessica Parker and James Caan. Rated PG-13.
Leaving Las Vegas
Ben Sanderson is an alcoholic Hollywood screenwriter who loses his job and decides to head to Las Vegas to drink himself to death. While there he falls in love with a prostitute who accepts him for who he is. Starring Nicolas Cage, Elisabeth Shue, Julian Sands, Richard Lewis, and David Brisbin. Rated R.
Rain Man
Charlie Babbitt is a fast talking, financially struggling businessman who is reunited with his autistic brother, Raymond, after their father's death. When Charlie discovers that his father has left him out of his will, and has left $3 million dollars in a trust for his brother, he decides to take custody of Raymond and take him home with him. During their cross country trip, Charlie learns a little about his brother and a lot about himself. Starring Dustin Hoffman, Tom Cruise, Valeria Golino, Jerry Molden, and John M. Murdock. Rated R.
Mike McDermott is a law student who gives up gambling after losing all of his money. Several months later, his buddy is released from jail and owes $15,000 to the same man Mike lost to. Now he must decide whether or not he should help his friend and risk his relationship with his girlfriend. Starring Matt Damon, Edward Norton, John Turturro, Famke Janssen, and Gretchen Mol. Rated R.
The Sting
Classic movie about a pair of con artists who find themselves in a high-stakes game against the master of all cheating mobsters when they set out to avenge the murder of a mutual friend and partner. Starring Paul Newman, Robert Redford, Robert Shaw, Eilee n Brennan, and Charles Durning. Rated PG.
Vegas Vacation
Once again the Griswold's are taking a family vacation - this time to Las Vegas. And of course, this vacation quickly turns into the trip from hell. Clark can't hold on to his money, his wife who is being seduced by Wayne Newton, his son Rusty who's luck won't quit or his daughter Audrey who decides to pursue a career as a club dancer. Starring Chevy Chase, Beverly D'Angelo, Randy Quaid, Christie Brinkley, and Wallace Shawn. Rated PG.
